Personal security


Our 'Personal Security' training (HEAT light) is a two-day course enabling participants to assess, mitigate and handle the threats they may face in the field. The training consists of the following elements:


- Analysis of national security situation and local context

- Assessment of external threats and internal vulnerabilities

- Personal security awareness and early warning indicators

- Personal security responsiblities and SOPs

- Stop-think-act responses to security incidents

- Security incident communication and reporting

- Movement, crime, assault, kidnapping, shooting and terror scenarios

- Mandatory tests + handover of certificates 

Organisational and personal security


Our 'Organisational and Personal Security' training is a unique three-day course enabling participants to both fully comprehend and abide by their organisation's security setup, as well as assess, mitigate and handle a long range of threats they may face in the field. The training consists of the following elements:


- Understanding organisational security framework, policy and plan

- Abiding by organisational security rules, SOPs and instructions

- Analysis of national security situation and local context

- Assessment of external threats and internal vulnerabilities

- Personal security awareness and early warning indicators

- Personal security responsiblities and SOPs

- Stop-think-act responses to security incidents

- Security incident communication and reporting

- Movement, crime, kidnapping, shooting and terror scenarios

- Mandatory tests + handover of certificates 

Security management

 

Our 'Security Management' training is a two-day course enabling participants to formulate, adapt and manage their organisation's security setup. The training consists of the following elements:

- Context and stakeholder analysis 

- Threat matrixes  

- Site, route and operational risk assessments 

- Mitigation strategies and measures 

- Security SOPs, rules and staff instructions   
- Managing security focal points 

- Managing day-to-day security decisions

- Mandatory tests + handover of certificates 

Security and emergency management


Our 'Security and Emergency Management' training is a three-day course enabling participants to formulate, adapt and manage both their organisation's security setup as well as its emergency framework. The training consists of the following elements:

- Context and stakeholder analysis 

- Threat matrixes  

- Site, route and operational risk assessments 

- Mitigation strategies and measures 

- Security SOPs, rules and staff instructions   
- Managing security focal points 

- Managing day-to-day security decisions

- Emergency plans (including hibernation, relocation and evacuation)

- Emergency reponse, communication and follow-up exercises

- Mandatory tests + handover of certificates 

On-the-job capacity building


Our on-the-job capacity building deliver mentoring sessions for staff with security management responsibilities at their own office or field mission. Mentees are guided in performing day-to-day security tasks and sound decision-making. The sessions can consist of:

- Security management basics

- Security focal point basics

- Conducting context and security analysis

- Completing threat and risk assessments

- Reviewing and adapting migitation stragies and measures

- Giving staff security briefings and instructions 

- Managing day-to-day security decion-making 

Live drills and stress tests 


Our live drills and stress tests lets organisations gain first hand experience in handling emergency and extreme stress situations through simulations in their own natural operating environment. The simulations can consist of:

- Building evacuations

- Staff relocation 

- Office and residential hibernation

- Facilitating high-profile HQ delegations

- Deploying to unfamiliar locations
